Motilal Chaturvedi

Motilal Chaturvedi is an accomplished professional with a strong background in environmental science and extensive experience in leading occupational health, safety, environment, and security domains. After graduating from CCSU, Meerut, UP, in 1993, with a science degree, specializing in environmental science, they embarked on a remarkable career path. With a passion for corporate sustainability, he pursued professional certification in corporate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) from Bocconi University in Milano, Italy. They also obtained certification as a lead auditor from the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) in Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) and Energy Management System (ISO 50001). Over the course of 23 years, he has played a pivotal role in the financial sector in India and the UAE, leading the occupational health, safety, environment, and security domains. Currently, they hold a prominent position as the head of the Health, Safety, Environment, and Security (HSES) function at the largest financial institution in the UAE. In his career, he has achieved numerous significant milestones. Under their leadership, First Abu Dhabi Bank became one of the pioneering organizations worldwide to be awarded ISO 45001 Health and Safety standards. This accomplishment demonstrates their commitment to ensuring the well-being of employees and maintaining high standards of occupational health and safety. In addition to the professional achievements, he is also an active member of the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). Their involvement in this global initiative showcases their dedication to promoting climate awareness and incorporating climate-related considerations into financial decision-making. With the comprehensive knowledge, expertise, and leadership abilities, he continues to make a profound impact in the field of environmental science, sustainability, and occupational health and safety, driving positive change within the financial sector and beyond.
